What if a world of love is only a breath away – or standing close by, maybe even beside you…
What if all you have to do is open your heart a little more – shower your days with loving kindness, for others, for you…
What if all that is needed is to see through the eyes of love, and then live from there…

I’m recognizing that where you are, the clock may have flipped itself into 2019 BUT HERE it’s still in the ‘I’m-about-to-be’ stage, approaching ever-so-soon but not quite yet (don’t you just love TIME). SO, here’s a big blossoming blooming YEA! to 2019.
May it be the most magical love-filled year ever … May each of us dare to be the best we can be … And may we all reach deep into our hearts and share with each and everyone we meet that wondrous loving kindness that lives within.
WHY? Because Love IS the answer!
And remember – corny as it may sound – You are starlight, each and every one of you … and that means – wait for it – you are golden!
Be the love. Share the magic.

Many warm wishes for a happy Yuletide Season are coming your way.
Whatever way you choose to celebrate this time, may it be filled with love … for this is a time traditionally where love and light are meant to flourish … where moments of loving kindness are meant to be shared … and where reverence and joy are meant to abound – for all life and all peoples.
It is a time of giving … and it is a time of love.
So get out there and celebrate. Sip the good sup of Christmas cheer. Enjoy that delicious meal with friends or family. Give gratitude for what you have, large or small. If you’re anywhere in the North, get out that shovel and do yourself and your neighbor a good turn, for the white stuff seems to be everywhere at the moment.
And remember – the Love that is Eternal and lives deep within us all knows no bounds. In it, we all prosper.

Perhaps Martin Luther King said it best – “Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that.”
As we wake up to the news of increasing hatred and violence, and all the pain and suffering that can bring, this thought comes to mind –
Dare to be the light of love unto your world. For YOU and your light of love are needed. Perhaps now more than ever. Never doubt that. Never doubt the power of love.

If I could tell you a story, it would be about how beautiful you are.
It would be a story of love, and laughter, and possibility.
If I could tell you.
If I could tell you a story here and now, would you listen?
Or are you busy – with phones, and games, and the clutter of living?
If I could tell you.
And if I told you, would anything be different, in your world and mine?
Or would we wander, still, like lost souls in the desert of remembering?
If I could tell you.
For if I could tell you – the short form of it at least –
This is what I would say:
You are as beautiful as the sun and moon and stars.
As special as that which knows no beginning and no end.
You are the light of day, and the darkness of night.
You are unique, unlike all else, and yet you are one with all things.
You matter – and though it oft times seems that all this you do not remember,
I would tell you anyway, if you would listen.
I would tell you.
THIS IS A LIGHT OF LOVE. If we all turned on such a light, think what it would say about our 
world. Think what healing might come out of that.

Yes, there is another new page just added to 22shangrila. It’s called – WHAT’S NEW.
As you might guess, it’s about things that are new, current, or about to happen. Mostly (but not totally) it will be about things that you can buy. You are this Love. Remember that.
