JANUARY 1st, 2021 – a new day, a new year, and no matter how crazy things look at the moment, an opportunity for a new way of living and being. Yes, really.
I’m not talking about the new ‘normal’, as in how adaptive will we cramp ourselves into being. I’m talking about that 4-letter word – LOVE.
For 2021 is the year to live LOVE. Yes, really. To breathe LOVE, imagine LOVE, and shine LOVE forth in all its glory. It’s the year to share the LOVE that you are – to dig deep beyond the pain and sadness and find that shining light of love that’s been hiding in the crevices of your oh-so-vulnerable heart.
It’s the year to dare to be who you truly are. And that means to LOVE.
Yes, the world can look dark. Yes, it can feel scary. And yes, there are bound to be moments when you wonder whether it’s all worth it. But in that still-point voice deep inside, you know it is.
So go on now, grab those cherished dreams and bring them into reality. Dust off your visions, polish up your talents, unfold that bucket list, and LOVE them all into being. And then share them.
Be kind. Be caring. Be gentle. And most of all, be very good to YOU. Because if you can’t love you, how you can love anything or anyone else? Really.
2020 was, in many ways, a dark place for our world. Dark places can feel like they can go on forever. But the thing about dark places is this – all you really need to change them – is to turn on the light.
Your love is that light.

It’s snowy here, with a winter frost, and a chill beyond the norm. The desire to hunker down, wrap yourself in leaves of warmth, submerge until … But this is precisely the time to dare to bloom, to open wide the tenderness of heart, and find that precious gem of golden light that speaks to the truth of you who really are.
Deep space Love blooming like snowdrops from within the ground of our remembering, bursting forth midst the sun-kissed light of day.
For this is who you are, this deep space Love. This is YOU, the Eternal Heart, calling you to remember, to live anew, to dare, to dream, to imagine infinite possibilities wrapped in infinite Love, emitting forth with infinite joy. This is YOU.
So go on now, IMAGINE … YOU bursting forth like precious snowdrops into the exquisite light of day.
I can feel your smile from here.
We have crested the wave from one decade to another, landing smack dab in the early morning light (okay, maybe some of you got there sooner depending on where you live) of 2020. The beginning of the beginning of the new decade.
What will we do now?
2020 – Has a nice ring, doesn’t it. Even numbers, infinite possibilities, even in the midst of seeming chaos. As though we just might be able to sculpt a beautiful story of light and love out of its core. As though magic just might live in its centre, waiting for us to discover it.
Of course, the path to it is all heart-based. Nothing less will do, right. So do we dare to sing a song of Love in the midst of whatever else the first wave attempts to throw our way? Do we see beyond the illusion to the infinite wonder? Do we say YES to a positive Universe?
The choice is ours.
So get off that surfboard for a few minutes. Drink in the deep space silence that hangs out inside your heart. And listen.
When it speaks, and it will, give gratitude for all it has told you, and then follow its magical mystical sparkle dust road to the core of what is possible in this, YOUR, life.
It will take you to the heart. It always does.
Have a wonderful, peace-filled, kind, generous, and deep love 2020 life!!

The wondrous RAM DASS has left the planet and a light has dimmed upon his departure.
His ongoing spiritual journey was deep, immense, and a gift shared over so very many years. We are indebted to him – for his courage, his strength of purpose, his wisdom, laughter, and his willingness to deep-dive into the Eternal Heart. And for reminding us of who we truly are!
He will forever be remembered for breaking the mold and daring to be.
From the shores of Hawaii, a place he lived and loved, may the scent of plumeria waft heavenward and the exquisite breezes of the Aloha be a gentle companion to him as he soars toward the stars.

Winter Solstice – December 21st
For many, this is a time of reflection, renewal, even opportunity. For some, this year especially provides a window of great possibility – a door, perhaps, to a deep resonance of being where the veils lift a little, the heart opens a bit more, and a song of harmony begins to be heard, if you listen carefully.
Are you listening?
And so, the chance to meditate on all that truly matters. Not the humdrum chatter of the day, but the deep space love that lives within. To entertain its melody and dare to welcome it into the light of day. Yes, even if winter is upon us.
So go on now, meditate!
It is a time to kiss the blarney stone of love (Ireland’s going to love me for that one!) and serenade its story into the deepest corners of the heart. To watch its golden-threaded words weave their way, like fireflies of light, around the crooks and crannies of those scattered dreams, calling them back to life, maybe even now.
Go kiss that stone (well, not really) …
and dare to dream anew (okay, definitely try that one).
Yes, the Solstice is upon us. Take time to honour the power of its doorway, then if it feels right, let the love it can bring into your heart and your life. You’d be amazed at what might happen then.
and remember – Love is the answer, always.

Veils lifting, slowly, gently
Like the flutter of angelic wings
Whispering in clear air.
Softly, a sunlight enters –
Early morning dusting of
Luminescent light, golden
Essence particles, divine and shimmering.
And where are we
In these moments of discovery?
Looking out, heart open, eager and expectant,
Or hard-pressed to the cacophony
Floor of drama and despair?
Are we searching for crumbs
Or infinite possibilities?
Where then the heart, in these moments
Of whisperings and glimmerings,
And more…
