In the midst of all the craziness out there – in case you might have forgotten (and understandably so) – remember – wherever you focus your attention, especially intensely, is what you help bring into being.

With that in mind, if you haven’t already, start giving thanks for the good health you have and that of friends and family every moment of every day. Give thanks to the world for being a world in balance and harmony. Yes, even now.

SEE and FEEL that balance and harmony with each step you take. Walk it as if it were true no matter what else appears to be around. Breathe it in until you know it is so! And then dare to LOVE that great good health and harmony into being NOW, for all and everyone.

And sure, wash you hands well. Do diligence on these things. But do them out of an energy of love, not fear.

It matters. And so do YOU.

Namaste.

You are Love, and you are most definitely loved.

Ah, the sun!

For those of us living in the Northern Hemisphere, sunlight in winter can be a fragile thing, often fleeting, here one moment and gone the next, to return one knows not when. So when the days begin to get a touch longer and the sun chooses to surprise when least expected and blast its merry way into the fabric of a day, well, it’s a rather lovely thing.

Today, there was sun!

With the sun come thoughts of Spring. And with thoughts of Spring, we must have thoughts of gardens! To ponder, to plan, to create anew. Whether flower or vegetable, bush or herb, the idea of flourishing fruitful beauty waxes most poetic to the winter heart that longs for a balmy breezy afternoon, a salad fresh from the soil, and a petal or two of buds to enhance the mood. Of course waxing poetic brings with it tones of love.

And tones of love, when dwelt upon for more than a millisecond, carry with them endless possibilities of a life full of magic and wonder. One kissed by the fairies and blessed by the angels. And a bite or two of chocolate too (of the dark variety, obviously).

Thus come thoughts of a garden of love. But of course!!

So if you’re feeling kissed by sunlight, drink from the cup of its beauty and magic to the very depths of your being, allow the love that bubbles up from within to flow forth from your imaginative heart like a waterfall of shimmering light – and enjoy the day.

For love is the answer to all things. And a garden tended with love can turn the whole world into a blessed thing.

Happy Earth Day, everyone!

Do something nice for Planet Earth today, will you. It’s a very special place that could use some TLC (that’s tender loving care, for those of you who may have forgotten). So go sprinkle some of that love dust you carry deep within. Water your garden of life, and of the earth. Spread a few seeds of love. And if it feels right, give thanks for the ability to live in such an exquisitely beautiful world.

I find myself grateful.

Grateful for the budding warmth.
Grateful for the birdsong building.
Grateful for this garden of life,
You and I call – home.

A slow-turning globe of endless beauty.
A world that dazzles with its diversity
And humbles with its call to greatness.

Yes, things sometimes fall away.
They can crumble and burn unexpectedly
Or ebb and tide when least desired.

Tears fall then. Hearts crack open.
And when they do, before we know,
Before we understand,
New life has begun.

Prayers abound…

Prayers abound for the speedy recovery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama who is currently in hospital for a chest infection.

May the energies of healing love surround and assist him, may he heal fully and easily, and may he have a wonderful healthy long life.

We are forever grateful for his tireless efforts in promoting peace, compassion, and kindness in our world.

In case…

Hi Everyone:

In case you happen to notice that my 22shangrila circle just got smaller, I thought I should reassure you that – no, it didn’t shrink from mysterious causes, or critters surfacing from the depths of some bog in the realm of Bog-Dom, nor was it ghosts that go BUMP in the night snatching circle people along the way. It is simply because I finally decided to do what I had been telling myself I would do for the past month or more, which was to delete my Facebook Friends account. Yes, I’m one of those who are ‘logging off’ the site for a multitude of reasons which I won’t bore you with. Because 22shangrila and my Facebook Friends account were linked to enable sharing, when one goes … well you get the picture.

I am however leaving the icons below my postings here so you can use them should you wish to, recognizing that what’s right for me is not necessarily right for everyone else.

So you know – 22shangrila.com is, from now on, my principle connection with The World. Thanks for being a part of it! If you like what you see, feel free to talk it up with your friends. And thanks for that too.

On December 31st, a door closes…

Recently I sent an email out to some who are my mailing list. Though I’ve been mentioning it here for awhile, it feels important to share the mailing with you – in case you missed the message(s) – in case you want to order – but especially, to say thank you.

To Friends & Clients:

On December 31^st, 2017, a door closes – a door that opened over twenty-five years ago when I first started doing sacred geometry templates for people – Star Gates, they were called then. It has been a wonderful journey. A journey filled to overflowing with powerful energies and beautiful people who came to me with special dreams and visions ready to birth into being. Whether the gates they commissioned were for personal evolution or for their business or healing center – whether they were Master Gates (the big all-encompassing ones) or Logos (more petite yet potent) to represent a business in a geometrical way – all were portals of possibility that set the field for multidimensional evolution and facilitated the bringing into manifestation their life’s purpose and/or fondest dreams. Each was created via the often complex configurations we call, Sacred Geometry.

It has been an honour.

If you are one of those who commissioned templates from me – thank you, thank you, thank you. May your dreams continue to blossom and your days be ever blessed.

For those of you who are perhaps pondering whether to order, clearly now is the time for there will be no new orders taken after December 31^st. That date is firm. If you would like more information regarding Personal Commissioned Templates or Logos, you are welcome to email me. Please do so quickly for time is running short.

Universal Templates (each with its own theme or focus) will still be created from time to time and be available to purchase (a few are available even now), but these are universal in nature and so connect to all, very different from having one that is specifically for you.

Thank you again for being a part of this Star Gate journey. Thank you for being the shining light that you are, and thank you for helping to bring joy into our troubled world.

Happy Thanksgiving

autumn leaves It is Thanksgiving Weekend here in the Great Not-White-Yet North – traditionally a time of gratitude for all that you have been blessed to receive during the past year, and a prayer of thanks for all you hope to receive in the year to come.

Here it is also Autumn – a time when the leaves turn many colors, and at their perfect time, carpet the ground below. They dance midst the winds with a kind of reckless abandon as though they know their time is running short. I find myself incredibly grateful to watch them on this sunny day. I have always loved the dance of leaves.

I am grateful also for you, wherever you are – friends and strangers – those who click ‘like’ here and those who choose to ‘follow’. Thank you for dipping into the well that is 22shangrila and thank you for hanging around. Whether we have met or not, you make everything a bit brighter.

We live in an exquisitely beautiful world. Not always easy to remember in the midst of chaos, I know. So thank you for noticing its beauty, for taking the time to breathe it in, and for honoring it in your lives. For that, and for all you dare to do that is full of love, I am most grateful.

To you all, and to this very special planet which we all call home – THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Have a wonderful day wherever you are in this vast land. Celebrate what is good and kind about it, raise a glass or two to those fluttering maple leaves, tell every crazy Canadian joke you can think of, hum at least one Leonard Cohen tune, and vow to bring your talents and inspiration to its table that all who call Canada, home, may flourish and blossom midst its ever-evolving story. May this country prove to be a beacon of peace and love in action for all. HAPPY 150th CANADA!
