I walk alone but am not lonely.
I flirt with stars that call my name.
Winds dance through the heathers
of my remembering and leave a
trail of perfume in their wake.

I walk alone but am not lonely.
Galaxies dissolve like sparkling grains
of golden sands beneath my feet.
I walk midst sunrises and sunsets
and wisps of tomorrows yet to come.

I walk alone but am not lonely.
Heaven is my gate and Eternity my home.
I turn and find You everywhere. I turn
and look and walk, alone and yet not lonely.
For I am everywhere, alone, not lonely.

I walk in never-ending beauty.
Reflecting light – alone, not lonely
Reflecting love, I am – alone, not lonely.
Reflecting, reflecting, I am You
Everywhere – alone but never lonely.

Let the light within you shine upon your life like never-ending starlight or a sun-kissed day, and let the love that hovers deep within your heart, divine and everlasting, be a gentle flowing river throughout everything you are and do. We will all be better for it.

So roll out that inner carpet of love and let your open heart be a beacon of caring for our world. Share your kindness, your compassion, your laughter and your joy with those around you. Water your garden of life with love – and then send some out into our world as a gentle wave of healing for us all.

See the world through love-filled eyes that love may begin to blossom everywhere again. Listen only to the inner chords of love and watch how things within you change. Smile. Breathe. Catch the sparkles of beauty that dance before you. They’ve always been there. They just prefer to dance to the tune of love.

And drink in some of that love for yourself as well. After all, it’s who you truly are.

This is the latest and last template in The Templates from The Garden Series.

Done on high quality watercolour paper, in gold, silver, pale aqua, and teal pens.

Size: 20” x 22 ¼”

Focus: To be AT HOME IN THE GARDEN means the struggle is over and a world of harmony and love, joy and plenty, balance and serenity stands before us. The peeling of the onion skin has brought us to the oasis of being and we are ready to begin life in a new and wondrous way. To be AT HOME IN THE GARDEN means relaxing into a life lived from a different set of qualities, a different way of perceiving and of interacting – with the small self, the divine Self, and with all else. It does not mean the journey is over. In many ways, it means the journey has just begun.

So, though this is the last of this Template Series, it could also be perceived as the beginning. For those of you into numbers, this is the 33^rd of 33 in the series. The half moon symbols in these templates represent the essence of divine light – our own inner Eternal flame. As it turns out, there are 33 of those as well. So whoever becomes the Keeper of AT HOME IN THE GARDEN will be asking themselves to open more to a life lived through the power of divine love and the eternal flame that resides deep within the heart, from whence all tranquility and bounty flow. It is the pinnacle of possibility. The jump has happened, the skin has been shed, and the new dances before us.

If you feel AT HOME IN THE GARDEN may be for you – if your heart calls to become its Keeper, do not hesitate. And if you do become its Keeper, be willing to put it in a place of reverence in your home, meditate with it, and let others see it as well, that they too may be touched by the opportunity of being AT HOME IN THE GARDEN. As you do, small seeds of change happen within – for you, for others, and for our world.

The rushing waves…

Another shock wave ripples through our world.

Whether you agree with the recent decisions in the UK or not, find them right, wrong, or are indifferent, the bottom line is change is afoot. And though change can ultimately be good, it also often carries with it a rushing wave of insecurity, vulnerability, and a touch of the OMG factor.

We’re all connected, right, we know that now, and God knows we’ve had a lot of rushing waves lately, which means that, generally speaking, our balance factor isn’t exactly on center point – SO – beautiful people that you are (and you are!) – now is the time to amp up that glorious light of yours, hold that vision of balance, open up the heart a little more, and let the boundless love that’s in it cascade like a gentle waterfall of kindness and compassion into our world.

It is needed, now more than ever. Which means, of course, so are you.

Smile at the grumpy grocery clerk, shake hands with a stranger and mean it, give the person dear to you a hug. Reach out and share your kindness with others. It makes a difference. These are soft ripples in the pond we’re creating here, not tsunamis, but they mount up, they matter, and they ease the pain and confusion in this world. They ease the loneliness many carry, and they say, subtly perhaps – we are all in this together – we are one.

So please, go be that shining light. Help heal the world with love.

A prayer of love

A couple of days ago, a Facebook friend shared the following prayer. I don’t know where it came from originally but I liked it, copied it out, and have been spending time with it. I share it with you now. It may be your cuppa or it may not. I share it because our world needs love, now more than ever, and so do we. It’s called:

THE MIRACLE PRAYER

I open my heart wide to receive the love of God.

As I receive God’s love as universal supply, all my affairs are healed.

I realize and accept the healing power of the Universe as love, and I allow the healing power that is love to penetrate my life.

I readily accept the healing power of love in my life and I know that as love, God is my limitless and abundant supply made manifest.

I feel the outpouring of God’s love in my body & mind.

I feel God’s love in my affairs, and I know all is well.

Remembering…

Five years ago yesterday, April 24th, a beautiful light transcended this world, moving into a different level of being. His name was Sathya Sai Baba.

Baba was many things to many people. For millions, he was a guiding light. For others, a challenge, even a threat. For me, strange as it might sound to some, he was like family – the spirit of a being you have known for so long but haven’t seen in eons. The universe brought me to his door, he opened it, I came through, and life was never the same.

His was a universal message. Though he spoke of many things over many years, there were two constants that wove like a gentle wave of energy through everything – Know that you are Divine, and be the Love you truly are. These are messages I too felt called to share when I became a spiritual facilitator.

As the years passed and I walked what sometimes seemed like different roads (that rabbit hole being one of them), Baba still wafted through the ethers of my world, usually popping up when I needed it most, a wee reminder that I was loved and protected.

Yesterday, as tears surprisingly flowed, I found myself remembering, and in the remembering, slowly coming home to a heightened level of purpose – one of those ‘Remember why you came here’ moments. And so once again, I find myself in deep love and gratitude to the man with eyes that could take you straight to the heart of the Eternal – Sathya Sai Baba.

I woke this morning with these words – they are for you – each and every one of you. I hope you will take them to heart.

You are the love you seek,
The peace you crave,
The abundance you desire.
You – infinite glorious radiance of the Eternal,
You are the one you have been waiting for.

AS MANY OF YOU KNOW, I don’t normally post images of these templates online for many reasons. I prefer to send them in PDF format for those truly interested. However, I am going to break tradition today and include a ‘detail’ image of The Waters of Compassion, a truly potent template, whose focus is much needed in our world today.

This image is but a snippet of the template but it will give a wee sense of it all. I hope it intrigues you enough to want to look deeper and ultimately become its Keeper.
